Party on the Patio–Lorna Such and Her Band

Kick off the evening with Lorna Such and Her Band, a talented lineup of Chico-area musicians bringing a soulful mix of groove, jazz and original music to Party on the Patio.
Chico local and Chico State alum Lorna Such is an award-winning vocalist, instrumentalist and songwriter known as the lead singer of neo-soul/groove band Lo & Behold. She has also released two original albums, Have I Told You Lately? and bloom.
Joining her are guitarist Baynayah McConnell, trumpeter Aman Cowell, drummer Chris Nichols and pianist Ryan Smith — accomplished local musicians whose collective credits span jazz, soul, funk, orchestral music and collaborations with artists throughout Northern California.
Come early, grab a bite from the food truck and enjoy live music on the patio before the show. Part of Wildcat Weekend and sponsored by the Chico State Alumni Association, it’s a lively way to kick off the night with great local music, good food and plenty of Wildcat spirit.
