The Sleeping Beauty is a magical ballet that has enchanted many generations who have waited for the moment of true love, when Sleeping Beauty opens her eyes, awakened by a kiss from her prince. In this 50-minute Field Trip, your students will get a glimpse of the behind the scenes “How did they do that?” and all the work that makes the magic of The Sleeping Beauty happen. Full of curses, fairies, and fantasy, elaborate sets and costumes, and beautifully danced to Tchaikovsky’s fantastically popular score, this entertaining ballet will promise to be a treat for all.
