Chico Performances launches a new virtual series, supporting and highlighting local talent. Ben Ruttenburg and Samantha Francis, the duo at the core of The Bidwells, bring their talents to the stage of Laxson Auditorium. As venues were forced to shut down concerts due to the pandemic, The Bidwells released their new album, Anywhere You Take Me, earlier this year. The album features of original songs features an impressive variety of styles and tempos.
Following the success of the one-night streaming performance, the recorded concert is now available on demand through November 8. Featuring music from The Bidwells’ latest release, Anywhere You Take Me, the event also features Chico News & Reviews’ Jason Cassidy will joining the duo on stage for a conversation that gives us a glimpse behind the music from these talented singers and songwriters.
