The Spanish Harlem Orchestra is the standard bearer for hard-core New York style salsa, “Salsa Dura.” These masterful musicians have released four albums since coming together, each capturing a Grammy nomination and winning Best Salsa/Merengue Album in 2005 and Best Tropical Latin Album in 2010. In concert, their barrio rhythms produce an energy that is raw and life affirming.
