The classic tale of a malicious fairy, a sleeping princess, and a dashing prince is performed by the famed Moscow Festival Ballet, founded in 1989 by principal Bolshoi Ballet dancer Sergei Radchenko and dedicated to Russian classical ballet. The company returns to Chico, dancing the famous score by Tchaikovsky and showcasing spectacular choreography by Marius Petipa for the 1890 St. Petersburg premiere of Sleeping Beauty.
