Lewis Black, the Grammy Award-winning stand-up comedian is heading back to Chico! Black, known as “The King of the Rant,” spews a cathartic blend of anger and disillusionment that has made him one of the most relevant and prolific stand-ups working today. Gaining fame with appearances on The Daily Show throughout the 1990s and filming various comedy specials for HBO, Comedy Central, Showtime and Epix, Black, whose trademark style of yelling and fingerpointing, along with skewering anything and everyone who gets under his skin, won Best Male Stand-Up at the American Comedy Awards in 2001, and has been on a steam roll ever since. Performing more than 200 nights annually to sold-out audiences around the world, Black is one of few performers to sell out multiple renowned theaters, including Carnegie Hall, the Main Stage at the Mirage in Las Vegas and most recently, a sold-out Broadway run in New York City.
