Jake Shimabukuro has taken the humble Hawaiian four-stringed instrument to new heights. His prowess on the ukulele may be measured by the fact that he travels the globe performing more than 140 shows annually. Shimabukuro and his ukulele have collaborated with Yo-Yo Ma, Jimmy Buffett, Ziggy Marley, Tommy Emmanuel, and many other artists. His concerts feature famous covers of rock classics and his own compositions and arrangements, all performed with fiery passion and ultimate skill.
