Our dance festival closes with a San Francisco treasure, ODC. Founded in 1971 in Oberlin, Ohio, director Brenda Way moved the company to San Francisco in 1976. Heralded for its athleticism, passion, and emotional depth, the San Francisco Bay Guardian’s Best of the Bay has hailed ODC as “Best Dance Company” in 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 2011, and 2014. The evening will feature a mix of ODC repertory from its 45-year history.
