The Milk Carton Kids were last at Laxson in 2012 when they opened for the Avett Brothers. Since then, they have been a favorite of the Big Room, and now they return to Chico’s “Bigger Room.” Part of the “folk revival” movement, their pure harmonies and amazing picking have caught the eye of icons T. Bone Burnett and Billy Bragg. Their engaging stage performances are supported by well-crafted and sophisticated songwriting that earned them a 2013 Grammy and Emerging Folk Artists of the Year nominations.
